Thomas Woschitz (Klagenfurt ,1968) is an Austrian director and screenwriter. He studied at the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia in Rome, Italy and directed several short and medium lenght films, which have all been shown at numerous festivals, such as Venice and the Cannes Film Festival. In 2009 he won the “Max Ophüls Prize” for his first feature film “Universalove”, which premiered at the Toronto Film Festival. His latest film “Bad Luck” was acclaimed by critics as “a jewel of a film”.
